I hold degrees in law, communication and industrial psychology and am a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP). As an active member of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), I have been lecturing on a part-time basis to PR students through PRISA and Provox since 1987.
In 2007 and 2008 I was Chief Judge of the PRISA Prism Awards; the highest Southern African awards for excellence in PR work. I again served as a PRISM judge in 2014 and as a Chief Judge in 2015. I was a former chairman of PRISA's Gauteng Region and a member of the PRISA board.
I have been training and mentoring communication professionals throughout Southern Africa for many years. This includes training in creative and media writing, business writing, web writing, editing, proofreading, event management, reputation management and various other communication related disciplines.
I am a prolific writer, developing texts for clients across the world. In May 2010 I received the PRISA President's Award for my contributions to the PR and communication industry in South Africa.
