Your best investment is a keyword targeted domain...get that developed to showcase your restaurant. It'll generate organic traffic that is long term and targeted to your business. Add a squeeze page to build a mailing list and blog about your business on a regular basis.

Unfortunately that is the reality of online publishers...where some chase impressions and clicks based on quantity as opposed to quality.

25 articles a week is a hell of a lot of content (junk).

It's a pity that your bosses don't see the bigger picture...you can produce one engaging article per week and still retain the same impressions and clicks.

Engaging content opens up debate, where readers then comment, share your post on social media and attracts more readers.

True this a common practice with online publishers operating from shoestring budgets and competing with established brands.

As a writer, i think you can still do the same run your own show and focus on producing quality content...you've all the experience from site management, social media and content creation...just go solo!

Being an industry blogger will open up many opportunities for you...

as long as we're not going to be fed the same old faces that appear on mags targeting black readers.

we need inspiring profiles of people in all sectors of our society currently not in the limelight.

i've had enough of the re-cycling done by most mags. jozi has loads to possible candidates who are currently achieving greater heights in their careers and not celebrated.
