In 2012 I was called up for a more decent job at Waverley Sports Club as a Bar/Soccer manager. For the Bar part I had to make sure my colleague's cash-ups were correct and do my bit of bar tendering when extra hands were needed. For soccer I was referee and collected fees for teams utilizing the sports facilities.
One of my most epic moment was when my boss left me to run the business for a week when he went away on business. I saw this as an opportunity to see how I could handle situations without the need of escalations. I managed to run the place quite smoothly with just a few minor problems. I worked a good 2 years for the company. I had to quit my job because my family was relocating to another area so I had to move with them. I could have still stayed with the company still but transport was a bit of a hassle and I knocked off very late.
