Just going up to Table Mountain cost a fortune for me and my family of four.
Over all I think our accomodation rates are to high. Making it even for overseas tourist difficult to visit SA. You only have to look at Groupon to notice this arguement. You can stay oversees in a five star establishment for R4999 for five days, but then you pay R2999 for two nights in a four star establishment in SA. It doesn't make sense. I wish their was some regulation in the industry that states that if you are a three star establishment you are only allowed to ask between x - amount and the same for four- and five star establishments. |
