School project
Greetings, we as a group of five female students from Rosebank College Braamfontein Campus are doing a module called Work Integrated Learning and we are working on an assignment/project that is due 17 October 2016 which requires us to work with an NGO and find as many sponsors as we can in order to fulfill their needs.
It's been a year now working with Rekopane Inclusive Development Center, yet they still lack facilities due to failure of financial assistance from quite a number of sponsors, therefore we ask/plead with you to assist them financially, with human resources or whichever way that is within your means in order to secure a healthy and stable environment for the children
Rekopane Inclusive Development Center (NPO 119,343)
To provide for those in need and make a positive impact into the lives of those who have nothing much to do rather than sit or lie down the whole day and just when they feel like giving up the little hope they had in life then we appear and extend a helping hand.Rekopane is a home for disabled children based in Masibilanga Kagiso 2 West side of Johannesburg and the lady managing the centre Sister Seipati Mosweu which has approved our proposal has explained to us that they are in need of serious financial support, transport, human resources ,equipment , and other resources to sustain its running costs.So far they have not been able to acquire funds from the Department of Social Development and other sponsors. therefore we kindly ask for your assistance in sponsorship in working towards building a better future and providing for those who have less capabilities than us .
In our proposal we have drawn up a few objectives that we aim to achieve and work towards executing which are:
Objectives:
-Work with at least ten (10)or more sponsors that are willing to help make this project a success
-Host an event and invite people who will render some help to us and we will raise funds amongst ourselves as a group make a difference in the children's lives to show them how much we appreciate them no matter the situation and alleviating poverty
-To raise awareness on the needs of children in this particular centre
-Spend an hour or more once a week at the NGO to gather all the necessary information
-Besides sponsoring them, provide any kind of guidance and support
-Provide stimulations skills and training to the children such as leg and arm exercises
Vision
We aim to please and achieve our strategic planning and all our hopes, dreams and goals combined so that we may execute a very successful outcome/result for this project, so that when we are done with our NGO we may be very pleased with our work and that their needs would have been met
Mission
To provide for those in need and make a positive impact into the lives of those who don't have the abilities that we have, and bring hope to the parents of these children and extend a helping hand and give back to our community and show that we can all live with a disabled child. We aim to enhance child development
Since last year we have tried to gather all the necessary sponsorship from various companies we only managed to get two.At the end of our project before submission we are required to host an event which will be attended by you (the sponsor) and many members of the community in which we will invite ,to showcase the numerous amount of work we have done in order to fulfil the center's desires most of the NGO's needs identified at the home/centre where we are going to take pictures of what we have done which we will submit with all our work done which we are going to record including the emails we send out asking for sponsorship together with our Portfolio of Evidence (POE) .Your support will be highly appreciated

-Simulation kit for their inabilities ( hands and legs)
-Special Wheelchairs
-A new TV
