Loeries Africa Middle East and the South African National Blood Service will be introducing the new SANBS Public Service Award in recognition of the best public service work done in 2017. All public service or charity entries across all Loeries categories are eligible for the award, which will be judged by Loeries chairperson Suhana Gordhan and one other judge.

The new public service award rewards campaign was created for charitable organisations, however public service entries are not eligible for a Loeries Grand Prix. The award will be presented on the final awards evening on Sunday, 20 August 2017.

The extended entry deadline is 31 May 2017.
