Iliad H1 HEPS 31.4c from 30c

Iliad Africa (ILA) recorded headline earnings per share (HEPS) of 31.4c in the six months ended June 2015 from 30c in the previous comparable period, the building materials company said on Tuesday.

The past few years have been challenging for the industry, the company said.

Iliad's focus on procurement efficiency and improving cost structures has countered these conditions to some extent, it said.

The company anticipates "marginal" 2015 revenue growth, in a period that will continue to be "challenging and competitive".

At 10.22am the counter was untraded at R9.59 per share.
