Autumn red for Du Toitskloof

Just in time for Autumn, Du Toitskloof has released its 2012 Merlot, a fuller bodied wine that should make the shortening days and browning leaves seem not quite so dreary. The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak resulting in a light smokiness that complements the ripe mulberry and mint flavours and hint of chocolate on the aftertaste. Enjoy this rich wine with mushroom risotto, roast beef, steak or smoked fish. The wine is available from leading supermarkets and wine shops and retails for around R40 per bottle.
