Media state secretary launches National Journalism Award

The secretary of State for Social Communication, Manuel da Conceição, on Thursday, 1 November 2012, launched the 5th edition of the National Journalism Award, a competition that aims to stimulate and distinguish the creativity and journalistic research, Angop has learnt.
The gala will be held in the first two weeks of December, says the source.

The mentioned prize comprises various modalities and journalistic genders of press, radio, television and photojournalism.

For this edition the jury will be comprised by the director of O Pais weekly newspaper, Luis Fernando, journalist Manuel Mariano, journalist and university lecturer, Joaquim Paulo da Conceição, Ernesto Bartolomeu with the Angola Public Television (TPA) and the director of the legal department of the Social Communication Ministry.
