Second day of Food & Hospitality Africa 2017 off the charts

Food & Hospitality Africa 2017 served up another jam-packed day, with visitors exceeding projections and feedback from both exhibitors and visitors positive: exceptional networking opportunities and lead generation are off the charts.

The day kicked off on a high note, with Zomato South Africa’s Country Manager, Steven Murray, speaking at HOST-ED about finding gaps and working within changing industries.

The third and final day will include the prize giving for the Barista Champs as well as SACA’s Competition Zone in The Skillery. A Celebrity Cook-off at the Global Pizza Challenge area will round off the action.

In the HOST-ED theatre, the final day opening will be delivered by Imameleng Mothebe, the Department of Trade and Industry’s Director of Agro Processing Industrial Development division. A panel discussion around the proposed national liquor Amendment Act will focus on the industry implications. The NAA (National Accommodation of South Africa) will also be hosting a workshop in the morning.
