SekelaXabiso awarded at IIA SA National Conference

SekelaXabiso, a South African majority black-owned professional services firm, was recognised for its significant role played in the advancement of the IIA SA's learnership programme at the Institute of Internal Auditors SA's (IIA SA) National conference.

The company, created in 2012 through the merger of Sekela Consulting and Xabiso Chartered Accountants, brings together two highly qualified teams of professionals with vast experience and impressive credentials.

SekelaXabiso has a vision to be a trusted and reputable audit and advisory firm that seeks to grow and add value to its clients driven by exceptional leadership and competent employees. The firm seeks to build value for its clients through the strength of its people by investing in training and development and utilising world class methodologies.

To that end, and shortly before celebrating its one year anniversary as a merged entity, SekelaXabiso was awarded the '2013 Best Contribution to the IIA SA's Learnership Programme' award in recognition of a significant role played in the advancement of the IIA SA's learnership programme at the IIA SA National conference last week.

This award recognises SekelaXabiso for being one of the front runners in the IAT and GIA learnership programmes. This is an impressive achievement considering that SekelaXabiso only recently introduced the programme and they have already had many successful graduates.

"Well done to all the learners that have made this programme a success and have put SkX in the spotlight! Thank you to the Technical Division for their efforts in running this programme. Let's keep the momentum going and aim to get this award again next year!" remarked Jillian Bailey, technical director at SekelaXabiso.
