Round three of BDO School Quiz goes to Glenwood High

Now in its seventh year, the BDO School Quiz is a fixture on the academic calendar for schools throughout Durban and Pietermaritzburg. It gives teams of four Grade 10 or 11 learners the opportunity to pit their general knowledge skills against one another in a round robin competition.

Glenwood High School has just been named as the top central Durban school in round three of BDO School Quiz. The other 33 participating teams congratulated the members of the winning team, Troy Ketley, Ethan Biggs, Ridge Radebe and Callum Nel. The top two teams from each school go through to the final, which will be held at Clifton College on 5 May.

The quiz champions earn the right to nominate a disadvantaged school to win R10 000 worth of books. BDO has teamed up with independent bookstore Books&Books again this year and an additional sponsor, Kip McGrath Education and Learner Enrichment Centres.
