Sthandiwe Khumalo from Durban and Zandalee Broodryk, Frances Loots, Julia Bass, Marquin Sampson, Emily Hellens, Courtney Dippenaar, Nicole Damata, Jade Rea and Sane Bosman from Cape Town have to create an exhibition outfit reflecting their unique design style within a budget, inspired by the creative theme of the competition "From Bauhaus to Boho".
The Foschini Fashion Design Awards offer the ultimate platform for talented young designers to gain insight into the fashion retail industry. The 10 designers were all visited at their schools by the group's team last week and presented with the brief packs for their exhibition garments.
The Foschini Fashion Design Awards go live to the public on Monday 24 February 2014 on the website. Each designer will have a profile online where the public can view his or her exhibition garment, find out what inspires him or her and cast a vote. The outfits and designers will be at the group's stand at Design Indaba at the CTICC from 28 February - 2 March 2014.
