The Saxon Boutique Hotel, Villas & Spas celebrated on 7 November in London in honour of the opening of their new fine dining restaurant, Five Hundred. Executive chef David Higgs and managing director George Cohen hosted the country's top media at an intimate and exclusive gathering featuring some of Higgs' finest creations.
This event comes hot off the back of his appearance at the prestigious Stars, Food and Art event held at Sofitel Legend The Grand, Amsterdam on 2 and 3 November. This event allowed for eleven international chefs from countries including Germany, France, Spain and the UK to showcase their signature dishes in two dinners prepared for those with the most discerning of palates. The festival aims to create the perfect relationship between food and art, and showcases not only incredible gourmands but also talented artists and musicians.
