Annual collection for Avril Elizabeth Home grows with new brand

In its 18th year, Elizabeth Anne's gets ready to run its traditional campaign in support of the Avril Elizabeth Home. However, this year it is different as it marks the first time that the newly branded Elizabeth Anne's & Purity Toiletry brand have joined forces with the Purity Nutrition brand to assist and support the home with both brands are pooling their efforts to care for those less fortunate.

For every product purchased between July and October 2010, 10c will be donated to the home and for the first time, consumers who purchase Purity cereal products will be contributing 10c from every purchase made to this drive. The trade and various suppliers have also joined hands in support of this worthy cause.

"Over the past 17 years, the brand has donated over R4 million to the Avril Elizabeth Home and in 2009, a record R650, 000 was donated, making this the highest ever donation in the history of the campaign. Each year, our financial contributions not only look after the over 160 residents but also embrace them into a loving and healthy environment. Each resident is lovingly nurtured and taken care of to try and ensure each person's potential is fully maximised," says Wendy Harker, Tiger Brands brand manager for baby wellbeing.
