CANSA gets Sandton City doors

Through its R1.77bn first phase repositioning programme, Sandton City Shopping Centre was able to donate 58 doors of various sizes to CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa) for use in renovating the Gwaranang building in the new Steve Biko Paediatric Oncology Unit. CANSA made use of the voluntary services of the Round Table Organization to collect the donated goods.

"Sandton City is currently undergoing exciting changes, which means that we are in the fortunate position to salvage many re-usable items such as doors and bathroom fittings. We have assisted various organisations within our community with the donation of these salvaged items, with CANSA being the most recent organisation," says Sharon Swain, centre manager.
