Online pop-up shop donates all to charity

The new online retail shopping site, Shop for Good is a first for Cape Town, where all items are 100% donated and proceeds go directly to the Children's Hospital Trust. It is a temporary site, with mostly Cape Town based experiences.

The site offers a range of items from designer clothing, jewellery and handbags to outdoor adventures and weekends away. Companies with heart donate all in full and some of the major sponsors include Fragrance Boutique, George Forman Grills, Tosca Salons, Spa Rejuvenesce and Table Mountain Cableway. This novel initiative will be running for only two months to raise funds for parents' accommodation at the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital.

Guy McDonald is the official ambassador for this campaign and will be showing his support in a variety of ways over the next few weeks, having fallen in love with a bird he met at the Two Oceans Aquarium. This penguin encounter is one of many discounted experiences and luxury products available through PayFast or by EFT transfer.
