Two new rosés for summertime drinking

Bon Courage has launched a pink Cap Classique in time for the festive season and the new Holden Manz Rosé 2012 offers summertime drinkers a refreshing new option.

New packaging for Bon Courage

The Bon Courage Jacques Bruére Cuvée Brut 2006, an elegant blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, features the new packaging from the vineyard, in shimmering pink and silver. Try it with grilled salmon or tuna, or prosciutto, all of which complement both its colour and the flavour, or with sushi and Asian dishes. It will also pair very well with creamy cheeses like Brie and is a good match for red fruit desserts.

The 2008 vintages Jacques Bruére Brut Reserve and Jacques Bruére Blanc de Blancs have also been released in stylish new packaging. The wines retail between R120 and R130 per bottle.

Maiden vintage

The new Holden Manz Rosé 2012 is the maiden vintage of winemaker Schalk Opperman and is composed of all four red grape varietals grown on the estate - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Franc.

"Try it with another Franschhoek gem, salmon trout and don't forget the sushi," says Schalk of this easy drinking dry Rosé.

The wine is available at selected fine wine shops and restaurants and sells for R55 at the cellar door.
