Cape Town's iconic Table Mountain will
officially be inaugurated as one of the New7wonders of Nature this December, and the City of Cape Town is going all out to celebrate the occasion! Expect a free concert for the public affair followed by a Table Mountain float joining a procession through the city. A big thanks must be made to SANParks for taking such good care of the South African ecological treasure!
On trend with going green, the SA Post Office plans on
procuring 90 electric scooters by 2015 in order to reduce it's CO
2 emissions. But they're not stopping there... By 2020 it plans on being carbon neutral - now here's a sustainability goal we can all aspire to!

The Competition Appeal Court (CAC) on Wednesday upheld an appeal by the Competition Commission to have its case against South African Breweries (SAB) and its 13 distributors heard before the Competition Tribunal, BDLive reports. The commission brought the appeal application after the tribunal in April last year dismissed the referral of a complaint against the SAB.

MUMBAI, INDIA: Indian police said on Monday (19 November) they had arrested a woman for criticising the total shutdown of Mumbai after the death of politician Bal Thackeray. The criticism was made on Facebook. Her friend who "liked" the comment was also arrested. 
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has obtained a provisional preservation order against some of the South African assets belonging to Johannesburg businessman Dave King and the companies associated with him, including his Sandhurst family home, and several cars, including a Ferrari.
