Today sees our last newsletters for 2012, with the first of our new industry newsletters to be published on 15 January 2013, but we will keep on updating the new industry portals over the festive season.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support; our subscribers across all our portals continue to grow; in fact, in our new industries alone, we are now closing in on 70,000 subscribers, and for that we thank you.

The forced closure of Kitty and Puppy Haven in Alexandra, Johannesburg, could see up to 200 cats and dogs being euthanised in the next two months. Acting as a rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing centre for injured, neglected, traumatised and mistreated cats and dogs, the haven has helped 3,000 animals annually. 
The Symphony Way Temporary Relocation Area in Delft, Cape Town, better known by its nickname, Blikkiesdorp, received a truckload of clothing on 8 December 2012 from Naartjie Kids to brighten the lives of the 8000 children in the community. 
Support that Anglo American's enterprise development arm, Zimele provided towards an emerging female farmer in Musina, Limpopo, is creating a real difference in the local community by ensuring that they have better access to affordable fresh fruits and vegetables. 
Thanks to the support of over a thousands individuals, the Santa Shoebox Project has reached its goal again this year. Collecting just under 100 000 gifts for children at over 900 orphanages, crèches and care centres across South Africa, its vision of people connecting through the 'Joy of Giving' has been achieved. 
Chrysler South Africa's Jeep brand has joined forces with the Reserve Protection Agency (RPA) by sponsoring two Jeep Wrangler vehicles to assist in the fight against poaching within South Africa and in particular the current rhino poaching scourge that is sweeping across the country. 
A multi-year grant of R1.05 million towards the SA College for Tourism (SACT) from Anglo American's corporate social investment arm, the Chairman's Fund, is helping to uplift people in rural areas across Southern Africa by providing them with skills training and access to viable career opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
