E-tolling is almost certain to have an impact on inflation: every company operating in Gauteng, or with employees in Gauteng, or having dealings with any company that operates there or has vehicles passing through there, will face increased costs. And you know they will have to pass them on.
So don't think you're home free because you happen to live in any of the other provinces. You'll also be paying.

Ford volunteers worldwide joined together for the seventh annual Ford Global Week of Caring, which ran from 8 to 16 September 2012, and tackled over 200 projects in 20 countries. FMCSA employees participated in more than eight volunteer initiatives in Pretoria and the Eastern Cape. 
One of the projects of the Foundation for Alcohol Related Research (FARR) in De Aar, Northern Cape has been saved from closure due to a donation of R1 million by The South African Breweries (SAB). 
100 students have received certificates for completing a course in computer and business skills from the Engen Computer School. Engen and Added Advantage Academy, which runs the school on the refinery's behalf, have provided new computer skills to over 700 students since joining forces three years ago. 
The African Wild Dog is South Africa's most threatened carnivore with less than 450 remaining in South Africa. Land Rover South Africa partners the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) and its Carnivore Conservation Programme and sponsors it with a Defender 110 Double Cab and a Defender 130 Double Cab. 
The Unlimited Child last week wrapped up its first follow-up visits to the nine crèches in Khayelitsha, which formed part of the NPO's early childhood development pilot programme in the Western Cape and reported a marked improvement all round.
