Having known the talented team behind the site practically since their inception and having watched them grow exponentially through their passion for their craft, I am excited to be taking over as Editor today, to continue the excellent and professional service that they have benchmarked in online publishing in the Media & Communications sector. I look forward to interacting with many of you on key issues facing the industry. ...And today, being International Press Freedom Day, it's worth remembering the media workers around the world dying daily in their attempt to bring the news to us and be thankful we live in a democracy where freedom of information is guaranteed in our Constitution.
