I basically create new business for the company and deal with conference production. I research and put together the intellectual content of conference programmes at the cutting edge of business strategy. I am responsible for structuring the conference agenda as a result of live telephone research with senior managers from a cross section of companies and industries, selecting and inviting high profile speakers, copy writing, designing the conference brochure and ensuring profitability of entire projects - from the initial idea to the smooth running of the event.
deal with budgetary control and make financial decisions that will have significant bottom line impact. Throughout the production at the moment, I work closely with the Marketing Department to ensure the best possible marketing campaign and with the Sponsorship Manager to put together an effective sponsorship strategy.
