Iwan Jooste
My workshop aims to empower South African working guys in grooming, business etiquette, holistic self-image & personal gravitas. Everything you need to maximize your potential lies within - nothing beats feeling good about yourself! The Corporate Gentleman is refining the SA guy one brute at a time...
Today's workforce comes from varied cultural and social backgrounds with differing standards in personal grooming and behaviours. These may not always be in sync with the norms of the organization. The social media age is also creating an impersonal communicative environment where "good old-fashioned manners" are falling by the wayside. The Corporate Gentleman workshop is targeted at equipping your male staff members with information and skills that will enhance their professional behaviour and appearance with the aim to maximize their potential to best represent your company in today's competitive digital environment.
This holistic workshop covers the importance of appropriate behaviour in the workplace, personal grooming, optimal business attire, verbal & non-verbal communication, gadget & Netetiquette, general professional conduct and interpersonal self awareness.
Participants will target areas for self improvement, improve their business behaviour & credibility and transform their executive presence & emotional understanding. Research has shown that 85% of success in getting a job, keeping a job, and moving up in an organization is due to "people" skills. Technical skills and knowledge account for 15%.
The corporate executive not only represents himself, but he is also the 'face' of the organization he represents. A happier, healthier individual translates into a more productive, committed employee.
"All power is based on perception. If you think you've got it, then you've got it. If you think you don't have it, even if you have it, then you don't have it." - Herb Cohen
