Harry van Huyssteen is the Custodian to the Arivia.kom Transport Forum.
In 2007, state-owned Arivia.kom tasked Harry van Huyssteen to establish a Transport Forum to foster industry focus and to bring R&D in line with the latest trends in international practice. The Transport Forum has specifically been positioned to be a crucible where sector related thought leadership can be distilled and accessed by a broad, industry-related community of members.
T-Systems South Africa (Pty) Ltd acquired Arivia.kom in 2010 and is still supporting the Transport Forum as a strategic initiative of the T-Systems Forums concept. Through the process of “Connect-and-Develop” (C&D), employees and members are linked with other R&D shops, universities, statutorily bodies, and participants within the transport sector. A process of open innovation is being adhered to.
Van Huyssteen has a diverse background in Training, Senior Management, Strategic Business Development and Management Consulting.
