[Duan Wanty] Finally we can say that a new era for South African films has dawned. These are exciting times - time to say goodbye to the slapstick, badly executed films that South African audiences have had to put up with until now.
[Duan Wanty] It's back! One of the three biggest denim brands in the world, Wrangler, had its launch last night in Jozi's CBD. A star-studded event - beautiful venue, people, and, yes, you guessed it - hot denim.
[Duan Wanty] A celebration of art at the Standard Bank Gallery, 20th Century Masters: The Human Figure, is the start of many projects for The France-South Africa Seasons 2012 & 2013. The aim of the project is to improve understanding between the two countries and to celebrate and strengthen ties between France and South Africa.
[Duan Wanty] We celebrate Athol's 80th birthday this year and, to add to the celebration, he has blessed us with a new piece of work that stays true to his legacy. It is exciting to see him adding work to his already reputable canon.
[Duan Wanty] When you hear the two words, performance art, you almost always expect something that will intrigue and/or be different from what you normally would see. But this performance art piece will blow you away, literally.
[Duan Wanty] If you are a fan, you will love it. If you aren't, you will just simply go on with life and ignore that this film was ever made. Mad Buddies presents slapstick comedy, larger-than-life characters and a straightforward plot, specifically designed for the people who love a good ol' Schuster movie.
