A new project, creating furniture from waste plastic and plant fibre known as polyfibre, could see the Eastern Cape creating jobs and a new industry, when the SABS approves the product. Mixing fibre from plant material and plastic is a very effective way of hardening furniture and preventing cracks and deterioration.
