The Cape Point Partnership with Thebe Tourism received the SANParks Kudu Award for Business Partner of the Year. The awards, which are sponsored by Total SA and First National Bank, acknowledge the efforts of stakeholders in making sure that the South African National Parks are considered the guardian of choice for protected areas.
The Cape Town Partnership and Thebe Tourism were awarded for growing SANParks' business and exceeding targets in the 2015/16 financial year. In November of last year, The Thebe Tourism Group became the sole owner of the Cape Point Concession and as the oldest black-empowered South African tourism group, continues to play an important role in the development and transformation of the industry.
