The International Fashion Sale is reaching to the stars to aid the plight of hundreds of victims of the recent spate of xenophobic attacks. South African celebrities, such as Mzansi actress Khanyisile Mbau and top model Christina Storm, are joining forces to aid the Red Cross at the sale, which takes place at Northgate's Coca-Cola Dome from 31 July - 3 August 2008, to collect clothes and blankets for the displaced and homeless individuals. 31 Jul 2008
Fighting hunger with 'Care 2 Carry'
Feedback Food Redistribution (Feedback) and Fruit & Veg City have joined forces to fight hunger in South Africa with the launch of the ‘Care 2 Carry' campaign, and customers are being asked to help. Shopping bags, designed by pupils from the Luzuko Primary School in Guguletu, are being sold at all Fruit & Veg City stores nationwide, and R2 will be donated to Feedback for each bag sold. 23 Jul 2008
Winter knitting campaign wraps up warmly
Med-Lemon is celebrating the success of its fourth consecutive winter campaign, which has employed 383 community members and produced over 5,700 scarves since its launch in May 2008.
