The Fun Day was hosted by Jeppe Quondam in Edenvale, who was also the main sponsor of the event. Jeppe Quondam seemed like the perfect choice for the venue, as it allowed the home to still be within close proximity.

The event saw Luckie Entertainment presenters assist and run various stalls that both entertained and enticed the crowd. These included the kids' corner, complete with a jumping castle, face painting, and egg and spoon races, as well as the photo-booth and the stage filled with entertainment for the day. Other stalls were strategically positioned across the fields offering coffee, toys, sweets, popcorn and candyfloss, as well the trusty book store.

The Avril Elizabeth Family Fun Day was backed by large brands and sponsors, such as Jeppe Quondam, Acrow, Toyota, Pick n Pay, Hall Real Estate, Music Connection, Mercedes Benz Bedfordview and McCann Advertising Agency. The live entertainment included acoustic sets by Mike Marinus and Jessica Liebenberg, as well as Spanish dancers from Funtango and of course, the Luckie Entertainment DJs - Robyn Davies, DJ Skye, Raquel De Canha and Reginald Shikwambana.
