Mmatšatši Ramawela, chief executive officer of the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA), says Michael Tatalias' departure from the travel and tourism industry will be a great loss.
Michael Tatalias leaves travel and tourism industry

As CEO of the Southern Africa Travel Services Association (SATSA), Tatalias has played a critical role in shaping the growth and development of the sector. Over the years, he has served the industry with great vigour and determination, representing SATSA and the TBCSA in various public and private sector structures and platforms. He was one of the pillars of the ongoing work of getting the private sector to collaborate and work as a team to advance the interests of business at all levels.

"Michael will be greatly missed - particularly his vast knowledge about the sector - and we believe that it will be hard to find someone with his qualities and giving nature. On behalf of all of us in the TBCSA and the industry at large, we wish Michael much success in his future endeavours. We hope he returns to work in and serve the industry one day," Ramawela concluded.
