Jane Eyre live on the big screen at Nouveau cinemas

Nothing beats live theatre in the comfort of a cinema and with the NT Live screening of Jane Eyre from 23 January, theatre lovers are in for an ultimate treat.

Charlotte Brontë's beloved classic novel Jane Eyre was re-imagined by director Sally Cookson and was first staged by the Bristol Old Vic last year, before the celebrated production transferred to the National Theatre, and can now be seen at cinemas across the world, including here in South Africa.

From her beginnings as a destitute orphan, Jane Eyre's spirited heroine faces life's obstacles head-on, surviving poverty, injustice and the discovery of bitter betrayal, before taking the ultimate decision to follow her heart.
