    Woodstock SA launches

    In the spirit of the infamous Woodstock Festival that took place in New York in 1969, South Africa will experience Woodstock SA, set to take place at the Hartebeespoort Dam in Johannesburg from the 1-4 of September 2016.
    Woodstock SA launches

    This four day festival aims to be filled with these three things: peace, love and music. With mountain backdrops and green pastures throughout the camping site, the festival offers a range of activities and a talented musical lineup.

    Dancefloors and events

    Woodstock SA consists of seven dance floors, with DJs performing various genres of music per floor to cater for a range of music interests. The festival will also include several day events, such as Nick Dewit doing an X Fighters motocross show, carnival rides including a Ferris wheel and more.

    Ticket details

    Early bird tickets for Woodstock SA are already sold out. However, those interested can still buy a general ticket or grab one of the exclusive tent or hotel packages:

    Stand alone tickets
    Tickets include access to camping and entertainment areas. Shower and toilet facilities are provided.

    General: R600

    Tent packages

    Tickets include 2x Woodstock SA tickets, two-man tent and access to a private camping area with its own showers and toilets.
    Rolling Stone Tent Motel: R2,350

    Hotel packages

    Includes Woodstock SA tickets, Bed and Breakfast at a four-star hotel, including a shuttle service to and from the venue.
    Two sleeper: R5,900
    Three sleeper: R7,500
    Four sleeper: R9,500
    Six sleeper: R13,000

    Travel packages

    Return flight to and from Lanseria Airport, includes shuttle services to venue or hotel dependant on package selection.
    Cape Town: R2,500 pp.
    Durban: R1,900 pp.
    Woodstock SA starts at 12pm on 1 September and ends at 5pm on 4 September.
