Butlers and Botox back by popular demand

Butlers and Botox, the follow up to Butlers & Brandy, which received rave reviews at last year's National Arts Festival in Grahamtown is coming to Artscape in Cape Town between 24 and 27 February 2010.
The show enjoyed a complete sell-out run with rave reviews at last year's National Arts Festival in Grahamtown where it was listed as one of the top-three selling shows on the Festival Fringe.

This time round, the audience is introduced to another wealthy family - including husband and wife duo - David and Claire Wright - who, of course, each have their own hidden agendas. Throw in Claire's rather ditsy twin sister, Audrey and David's Benoni-style buddy, Harry - as well as the enticing prospect of a claim to a huge inheritance - and you have all the ingredients for a classic murder mystery in the making.

Botox bungled

The shenanigans all start when Claire, a wealthy fashion designer, invites her friends over for a fancy dress evening in the hopes of disguising her recently bungled Botox operation. Before long, however, people begin to die mysteriously and it seems as if anyone could be a suspect.

With biting wit and comical antics, this humorous take on the classic murder mystery is an entertaining whodunnit that'll keep audiences guessing right up to the end.

What makes this production even more enjoyable is that the audience decides throughout the show what they want to see happen next!

Performances are in the evenings at 8.15pm, plus an extra show on Saturday at 3pm.
Tickets from www.computicket.com or +27 (0) 21 421 7695.
