The KILLERS announce extra day for SA tourDue to the phenomenal response from fans we are excited to announce that The KILLERS will be adding an extra date to their South African tour in December. Ticket demand has been exceptional and as a consequence a second Johannesburg show has been added on Thursday, 3rd December 2009 at the Coca-Cola Dome. The additional date is presented by Heineken® and supported by regional radio station 94.7 Highveld Stereo.  The KILLERS formed in Las Vegas in 2002, the band is Brandon Flowers, David Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci and Mark Stoermer. They belong to the lineage of high energy rock bands that manage to be both commercially successful and critically acclaimed. Their debut album ‘Hot Fuss' (2004) classified 4 times platinum in the UK and 3 times platinum in the USA. Their second release Sam's Town (2006) sold over a million copies world wide and went to number 2 of the billboard chart and their most recent release ‘Day & Age' (2008) went to number 1 in the UK and number 6 on the billboard chart. They also released a compilation album is 2007 entitled ‘Sawdust' which featured B-Sides and rarities. Besides the incredible sales figures, The KILLERS have received seven nods from The Grammy's and won a variety of MTV, BRIT and NME Awards. They have headlined some of the biggest festivals in the world including Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds and Pukkelpop, and have sold out prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York.
