Kaktus Op Die Vlaktes line-up for KKNK 2012 announced

Historically Kaktus Op Die Vlaktes has hosted some of South Africa's biggest music icons. Stalwarts such as Valiant Swart, Johnny Clegg, Miriam Makeba, Koos Kombuis, Jack Hammer, Johannes Kerkorrel and Anton Goosen paved the way for FPK/Fokofpolisiekar, Corne & Twakkie, Mandoza and Prime Circle.

Be sure to visit the Kaktus headquarters in Baron van Rheede Street for the duration of the festival in preparation for the renewal of this festival favourite. Fans can have their photo taken in a photo booth against a special backdrop, which will regularly be posted on the Kaktus Op Die Vlaktes Facebook page. There is also a Facebook Like Station, which provides you with the opportunity to participate in competitions, meet the bands, and win product gift hampers and tickets to the show.

Expect the return of a killer South African line-up catering for a variety of musical tastes with Dutch Electro giants Baskerville; newcomers Spoegwolf and Dividable Grand; and current favourites Die Heuwels Fantasties, Jack Parow, Gazelle, Van Coke Kartel and Die Tuin Dwergies.
