Antonio Manuel (co-organiser and owner of Rock the River SA),says "It's always a struggle getting any form of sponsorship for local artists from the big corporates but Paul Bothner Music and Paperjet Print have always managed to step up and fork out whatever they could. These businesses and their owners have always promoted, sponsored and supported SA artists with little to no financial gain and Rock the River SA would like to give them the recognition they so richly deserve as a small token of our appreciation for everything they do."

About Paul Bothner Music's involvement

"Paul Bothner Music is a well established musical instrument retail chain in the Western Cape, trading for more than forty years in the region. We believe that our success can be attributed to the company's long-term commitment to building lasting relationships with the communities we serve. Rock The River SA Music Festival is just another example of where we do our bit towards investing into the future and success of our local musicians. We wish all participating bands the best of luck with their careers, and an amazing festival experience at Rock The River SA," says Paul Bothner.

About PaperJet's involvement

"Basically we all love music and playing guitar so we help out bands and musicians, so anyone in music gets 10% off of all our products (sometimes more). We do contests for bands and try to sponsor events to do with Rock n Roll - keeps it fun," says Chris Farber (owner of PaperJet).

It is with the help of these two generous sponsors that the organisers of Rock the River SA plan to bring festival-goers a convenient alternative to conventional New Years' parties, jam-packed with performances by some of the best acts around. Book your tickets here and reserve your spot at one of the year's most highly anticipated events. More details on the festival can be found here.
