Oh happy day, Ke Nako, it is here! Up The Creek 2014 has finally arrived. If you aren't at the festival already, happily occupying some of the prime camping real estate as early birds tend to do, you probably still need to load up the car.

Excellent news for all chronic FOMO-sufferers: there will be no need to run around between stages at the 2012 Up The Creek together with Bacardi festival. The organisers have once again decided to do away with the conventional anxiety-inducing multiple stage festival lineup in favour of a single-file approach that allows revellers to enjoy one performance without fear of losing out on another. Joy!

January is a stupid month. The holidays are over; both your pants and your budget are a little tighter than usual and then those smug US assholes go and drop their Coachella lineup like a bomb and you can only hang your head in disappointment at your own Third World-ness.
