X/procure stiffens Atka Pharma against competitors

Pharmaceutical brand, Atka Pharma has signed with specialist electronic procurement company X/procure® for a 12 month period to launch its latest male sexual performance product.

“Our software system allows for pharmacists to order directly from wholesalers as well as medical manufacturers, and to check and compare prices and latest product offerings from most suppliers in South Africa,” explains X/procure®'s sales and marketing director JD Henderson.

To ensure Atka Pharma complete peace of mind, JD and the team held several meetings with the company, suggesting a strategy to optimise X/procure®'s system for Atka's new product that would dovetail with the client's existing marketing practices.

“Atka Pharma has opted to use our Intervention Advert which allows advertisers to ‘intervene' with their product when a pharmacist is ordering a competitive product in the same category - it's hugely popular,” adds Henderson.

Andre Daly, managing director of ATKA Pharma says, “Our decision to partner with X/procure® hinges on a few reasons, firstly, the Intervention at a critical point in the ordering process, and branding to key role players at this point on a continual basis is extremely important.
