On the Dot guest speaker for Durban was Louis Seeco, of Brand Pilgrimage who conducted nationwide research, which has shown that the success and sustainability of a brand is somehow linked to the marketers' comprehensive knowledge of consumers' cultural identity. Louis has written a book "Marketing - the same difference" and he is a frequent guest on Media@SA and Media Focus on SABC3. Louis shared his humorous memories of his research and most invaluable insights. On the Dot guest speaker for Johannesburg was Lebo Motshegoa. The morning commenced with an insightful and very entertaining presentation on Township Culture and insights into different groups within the township presented by Lebo the founder of Foshizi, the Black Consumer Insights & Research company that conducts research on the black consumer market. He researches and writes on cutting edge topics essential to black popular culture.
