The 2011 Thailand Trade Show may be over but the
launch of the Thai Trade Distribution Centre in Cape Town later this year will continue to open doors between the two countries for years to come. Still gearing up for business opportunities next week is Africa's Big Seven in conjunction with SAITEX. Highlights on the expo's conference circuit include the
China in Africa Workshop, the
Halaal conference, Agrifica conference and a
networking breakfast with UK-based international retail expert Simon Mathers.
On a last green note for the day, congratulations to Coca-Cola on the
opening of its new Valpré bottling plant in Heidelberg last week, along with the introduction of its PlantBottles to SA. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these 30% plant, 100% recyclable bottles on our shelves. Cheers!
