The FNB Diwali Festivals is one of the landmark events celebrated by Hindus all over South Africa where the official National event sponsored by FNB is enjoyed by over 20,000 South Africans and tourists every year. Held at the cultural hub of Johannesburg’s Newtown’s Mary Fitzgerald Square is considered by far the largest attraction for Indians living in South Africa from all over the Gauteng province where one can enjoy an array of entertainment and bargain shopping. This festival is befitting given the very deep historical, cultural, economic, family and business ties between our Gauteng residents from all walks of life, stereotypes and race.
