My name is Gugulethu Nkosi; I am a 22 year old journalism graduate.
I completed my final year for a BA Journalism degree in 2010, and graduated in April 2011. In my years as a student at Midrand Graduate Institute, I maintained an average of 75%, and obtained distinctions for most of my modules. Maintenance of such standards resulted in me gaining top marks for most of the modules, and also being identified as the top student in the Journalism course at MGI.
I am an ambitious, driven individual with a penchant for excellence, I very seldom have to be motivated, as I motivate and pressurise myself to excel in all that I do.
I have worked at the MGI publication as a sub-editor and journalist, and have some work experience through an internship at Caxton Newspapers
As a resourceful, resilient and independent worker, I will seldom need guidance once I understand what it is that is expected of me. I am driven by a passion I cannot quite explain, disciplined and assertive; what I do not know, I will make a point of researching and learning.
An opportunity such as this would see me seizing it and working to the best of my ability to excel and satisfy both myself and my employer.
