On the 16th of August had the first of three workshops that will expose school girls from Kuils River, Tafilsig and Blue Downs, to self development training.
I AM LEADERSHIPSharen Russel addressed the girls. Talking them through some basic human relations principles. As well as talking about public speaking and how to confidently express and market themselves.
On the 30th of August we were joined by a Diplomat from Brussels who grew up in Paarl, Shari Cupido. She will be talking about her road to success and hosting an interactive discussion with the girls.

The last speaker of the day will be Annette Miller, a career guidance counsellor from the Working Life, based in Claremont. She will be discussing career planning and school subject choices.

On the 6th of September we were joined by Beverly Mokoena, a banker for Standard Bank. She talked about how she went from growing up as a rural girl, to being a private business banker. She also talked about some of the bursaries and graduate opportunities that Standard Bank has to offer.
Rebecca Pillay, the Mentorship Manager for the Alan Gray Orbis Foundation also joinied us. She discussed the importance of mentorship. She also discussed the leadership training, mentorship and bursaries that the Alan Gray Orbis Foundation has to offer.
