First Hungarian Film and TV Awards hosted in Budapest

Actor and director Hakan Yildiz and a group of up and coming independent filmmakers are organising Hungary's first official film and TV awards. The event will feature awards for the best Hungarian films and television productions. The HUFTA's will be taking place on 1 June 2013 in Budapest.
First Hungarian Film and TV Awards hosted in BudapestLike the Oscars, the HUFTA's will feature the following popular categories: Best Picture, Best Drama, Best Television Series, Best Director (Film), Best International Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best International Short, Best Comedy, Best Web Series, Best Action, Best Documentary, Best Student Film, Best Music, Best Hungarian Film, and Special Awards. The awards will be voted on by celebrity guests, producers, and directors prior to the event.

The HUFTA's will be a red carpet event and aims to attract celebrities from around the world.
