'Great' Kalu gets SCSA Medal of Honour award

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) President Kalusha Bwalya says it is an honour for him to be bestowed with a Medal of Honour award by the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa (SCSA), Allafrica.com reports.
Speaking from Johannesburg Thursday, Kalusha, who is also a CAF executive committee member, said that it was a humbling experience for him to receive such a prestigious award.

According to Allafrica.com, ex-Zambia football star Kalusha - fondly nicknamed 'Great' Kalu - was among 13 other personalities who received honours for various contributions to the development of sports in Africa and beyond. "I receive this award on behalf of my family, the Zambian people, players, football officials, my colleagues at FAZ, our soccer-loving fraternity and not forgetting everyone who has always believed in me," 'Great' Kalu said.
