According to SAinfo, a deal between the International Federation of PGA Tours, the Sunshine Tour, and event promoter SAIL means South Africa is to host The Tournament of Hope, who, with a prize purse of US$8.5-million (almost R72-million), is one of the world's richest golf events, for the next 10 years, starting from November 2013.
The yearly event is certain to attract the cream of the world's golfers to the country.

In a rousing close to the 2013 season in South Africa, the South African Open, the Nelson Mandela Championship and the Alfred Dunhill Championship - all co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Sunshine Tour - will follow immediately after the Tournament of Hope. The host course will be announced at a later date, SAinfo reports.
