Cisco Expo South Africa 2013 attracts ICT experts

Themed 'Built for the Human Network', Cisco Expo South Africa 2013 will offer delegates a showcase of how the network can transform the way South Africans connect, communicate and collaborate as well as demonstrate how successfully Cisco's network meets the needs of businesses to keep companies in South Africa highly competitive, protected and above all, able to cost-effectively embrace technology today and in the future.

The event, which will be held from 3 to 5 March 2013 at Sun City near Rustenburg in the North West Province, will feature keynote presentations and breakout sessions delivered by global and regional Cisco executives and subject matter experts. It will also include Cisco partner showcases and workshops focusing on critical technology trends such as collaboration, bring your own device (BYOD), business video and data centre virtualisation. The official sponsor will be Bytes Technology Group, a leading group of ICT companies.

Opportunity to network

Cisco Expo South Africa 2013 attendees will also experience the 'world of solutions' showcase, which is an interactive exhibition area that includes product demonstrations from Cisco and its partners. Demos will range from simple connectivity to an intelligent platform that can dramatically improve productivity and collaboration for businesses, service providers and governments.

From participants to visitors, delegates can expect to be able to network with senior management, network administrators, network architects and many others from mid-market and large enterprises in South Africa, local and central government and service providers. This further underpins Cisco Expo's role as a premier business and technology platform that unites talented information and communication technology (ICT) professionals, equipping them with the right ICT skills.
