The World Luxury Hotel Awards has nominated the five-star graded, D'oreale Grande at Emperors Palace in Gauteng to contend for the South African World Luxury Hotel Award 2014 and the African World Luxury Hotel Award 2014.

The World Luxury Hotel Award rewards excellence with the aim of building staff morale within the luxury hotel industry. Raising awareness within a highly competitive market, whilst maintaining the highest standards, products and services have developed the awards and sustained continuity over the past eight years. The World Luxury Hotel Awards is regarded the highest accolade that a property can receive within the global luxury hotel industry.

2014 will see the majestic D'oreale Grande compete against 144 other countries and luxury hotels such as Phuket's - The Bell Pool Villa and Cambodia's - Prince d 'Angkor Hotel and Spa.

The selection process begins as each hotel receives an official or mystery visit from the World Luxury Hotel Awards committee; and after stringent evaluation, each hotel is notified of their successful nomination and participation. T

he World Luxury Hotel Awards Gala will be held later this year, with the details to still to be announced. Spas have now been added to the criterion on which all luxury hotels are nominated, allowing the prestigious Octavia's Sensorium Day Spa at the D'oreale Grande to further assert its opulent and lavish status.
