Memorial service for late judge

4 Dec 2012 11:17
The official memorial service for the late former President of the Constitutional Court and Chief Justice, Arthur Chaskalson, will take place tomorrow at the Johannesburg City Hall.
The Presidency said the memorial service will commence at 1430 and mourners are advised to be seated by 1400.

It will be addressed by President Jacob Zuma and various speakers from the family and the legal fraternity.

Chaskalson passed away on Saturday after battling with leukaemia.

The Presidency said condolence books will be placed at the Union Buildings in Pretoria, Tuynhuys in Cape Town and the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg from Tuesday.
